Moral Injury  ON-DEMAND

Therapists who work with military and veteran populations need . . .

Clinical skills to work with a population with the following clinical issues:

· As a result of long wars fought in Iraq and Afghanistan, these populations are composed of many persons suffering with complex PTSD
moral injury and Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI)

·  They may live with suicidal ideation and complex PTSD symptoms.  EMDR basic training provides the therapist with an introductory level

training in the basic presentation of EMDR therapy.  It does not prepare a therapist to treat complex cases.   However, persons working within
the military and/or veteran systems are faced wtih complex cases regularly.

·   Therapists should be comfortable in working with intense affect among these clients.

·  Therapists need strong clinical skills for working with complex clinical presentations.

·   Clinical competency is knowing what to do before you need to do it!  EMDR therapists who treat these populations are required to make
quick clinical devisions in response to challenging cases.

Dr. Hulrey offers EMDR basic trainings four times a year in addition to contracting with Department of Veterans Affairs for either face-to-face or virtual trainings which are specially contracted EMDR basic trained with the Department of Veteran Affairs and local military units.

EMDRIA approved EMDR Advanced Trainings are available either on site or via virtual.
